Cancellation and Refund Policy

The Law Khabar believes in helping its customers as far as possible and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

  • Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within same day of placing the order. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

  • The Law Khabar does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables etc. However, refund/replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the quality of product delivered is not good.

  • In case of receipt of damaged or defective items please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within same day of receipt of the products.

  • In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within same day of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

  • In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them.

  • In case of any Refunds approved by the The Law Khabar will take 3-5 days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.

Cancellations & Returns Policy

We are proud that all our shipments go through 2 levels of packaging and 2 levels of inspection before dispatch. The likelihood of damage is very small. However, in case there is any damage, here’s how you can get a replacement:

The Law Khabar offers a replacement guarantee for all products ordered online. Products will be replaced only in case of a manufacturing defect or damage due to transportation.

If you are eligible for a replacement, you should inform us within 24 hours of delivery of your order.
Before confirming an exchange, we would require proof of a defect in the product in the form of photos and videos of the package and its contents including shipping label on the box and invoice slip inside the box.

In case the product you have returned is out of stock, we will help you with a refund. Refunds will reflect in the same account from which payment was made within 5 to 7 business days.

For all cancellations, a 10% deduction will be applied as transactional fees. If a cancellation is requested after dispatch, please refuse the order upon delivery attempt. Once our delivery partner updates the shipment status to "RTO (Return to Origin) initiated," we will proceed to cancel your order and initiate the refund. Refunds will be credited to the same account used for payment within 5 to 7 business days.
